I purchased a 3 bedroom 2 bath double wide home and it is plain as can be. I've looked all over the net for ideas and have encountered many people with the same questions I have about fixing one up. I hope to update my blog with many pictures of my progress. I will be focusing on the interior.
This is GREAT! I'm also in a double wide that is in bad need of a redo. Just started this week on my son's bedroom. The taping and floating are a pain! I'm thinking of just priming and painting over the strips in the next room or do as my husband suggested and purchase drywall to put over the vinyl wallboard.

ReplyDeleteWe had a leaking roof last year and everything was wet inside our mobile home. It's a lesson for us to make sure we keep our roof in tip-top shape and to be proactive, as well. We researched a lot on signs to look out for before the roof leaks, and it made quite a different. Becoming more vigilant is a must and this will translate in savings for the future for us.
